Hi friends! I'm so glad you're here. I can't tell you enough how thankful I am for your support and love. Our sweet boy turned three years old over the weekend. Yes we had a small celebration, and yes I'm going to share it with you - in a few days! You won't want to miss it because a) it's super fun, and b) I'm sharing the cutest things I got for the pups and where you can get your own! As for today, in honor of our birthday boy, I'm sharing my letter of gratitude.
You don’t realize just how much you appreciate ‘home’ until you’re not there for a few days.
While at home on normal days, we tend to get stressed out with the fact that our houses aren’t perfect. We always have things we’d like to change or update. There’s always cleaning to be done. Laundry. Oh laundry.
Every year we say we’re going to plant a garden - and then we don’t. Sound familiar to anyone?
It sounds wonderful and all, but honestly, there’s a lot about planting that I don’t know. I am on level 1 of planting if there is such thing. Buy a plant, get some dirt, find an empty pot and go to town. Maybe add some water and plant food as well.
Here in the midwest we have been seeing warmer temperatures, consistently. Hello Spring! This also means there are plants and flowers EVERYWHERE! I mean, when Target busts out their garden and patio stuff, you can’t just walk past it.
With plants and flowers on my mind, I couldn’t help but think about the poor tree that has lived on our porch for years. Friends, it died this winter. I don’t know how it happened, but it did. That was THE ONLY THING I could keep alive.
This was one of the biggest decisions we’ve had to make as a married couple (okay maybe not that big, but it was important). And because of this large decision, our kitchen project kept getting delayed.
