Tis’ the season for holiday gatherings! If you’re like me, I love to dig through Pinterest for the most yummy/easy to make thing to take to the holiday parties. So, after many attempts to find my ‘go to’, I’m sharing the 2 SIMPLE desserts I love to make. Grab a pen and some paper (or your Google Keep list) and jot down the ingredients.

How to make Christmas tree trunk coasters.
When Courtney and I took down our first Christmas tree I wanted to come up with a creative use for the trunk.
Going into the renovations, I had a few thoughts. One, it won’t take us very long. Two, we will be done in time for Christmas.
Well, I’m here to tell you that it’s taking longer than expected (As always, right?) and I don’t think we will be done in time for Christmas. Unless of course a miracle happens. Which is possible. I don’t doubt it.
How did we get off schedule? A few things.

Can we have Thanksgiving every week? I really enjoyed my time off. It was the perfect combination of home projects, Christmas decor, family, food and relaxation.
